Prof. Charles J. Love, Director of Cardiac Rhythm Device Services at Johns Hopkins Hospital, wrote an editorial commentary on the clinical study published by Borov et al. in October 2023. Considering the latest findings on the efficacy of TauroPace™, he concluded: "Taurolidine may be one step closer to the ‘Silver Bullet’ that will kill the microbes, prevent CIED infection, and not affect the host."
